Why does every thing come back to the bathroom?

You know how you have one of those days. And you become more appreciative of the next day that went better. Well, I am finally having 'the next day' after about 2 weeks of 'one of those days'.

I actually had breakfast, and before 11:30 when Mark has lunch.

I actually had a full workout, but to be fair I have managed to get my run on the treadmill in almost every day. The exciting part is taking my ear buds out and realizing that Abby hadn't rolled over in bed while I was in the basement thus bringing on hissy fits.

I did manage, after 4 days, to finish my Access list of Christmas Card receivers. And I printed out the envelopes. If you would like to receive a Christmas Card from the Expressions of Love household, e-mail me at daniels_mommy04 at yahoo dot com.

I am wondering though why every thing in a mommy's life comes back to poop. After hosing both kids down from poopy explosions this morning, I let Abby cry in her crib just so I could pee. Mark follows me in and I ask him, 'Can't mommy go pee by herself?!?'

Big ol' doe eyes just stare up at me, as serious as could be, shaking his head slowly. 'Nooo.'

I think once we become mothers, peeing alone ends. Wait till your potty training hten it is peeing, pooping and tlaking all the time about it all!

Yes, along with with never sleeping through the night, you will also not go the bathroom alone again for a long long time. Why our kids feel they need to follow us in there though, I'll never understand

I can't remember the last time I was able to pee alone lol. I hope the rest of your week goes better.

Yes. Why am I obsessed with diapers after having a child?

And when will I be able to get through a meal without a crying baby soundtrack?

Privacy in your own bathroom? You must be joking.

Glad to hear you're finally having better days.

Lol on the bathroom privacy.
I think there is no such thing anymore, not for a while yet again.

Another one of the gems omitted in the "What it's like to be a Mommy" handbook. It's like the kids are afraid that we're going to disenegrate into thin air if they don't accompany our every. move!

Oh, the joys of going to the washroom with company right beside you....my daughter likes to kiss my knees (why, I don't know) when I am going to the washroom. She is also obsessed with looking before I flush, too funny! Yes, NO privacy for a long time to come, I think!!

Face it, you won't be going potty by yourself for a looooong time. I've even nursed babies on the pot. Good for you for running on the treadmill every day.

Sadly, from here on out, poop becomes a household word. You'll say it so many times that it will become "normal". I used to like to change it up some and refer to it as "poo", "deucer", or even "cucka". Don't know if I spelled that last one right, but it doesn't really matter - it's still a normal word around here. If you have to say it, might as well make it fun, right?

Here's to better days...you really deserve to have more of them!!! :)
